Dumpling Squishy Race Egg Hatching Route
Wins are spent on three competing things: eggs, Squishy upgrades, and world gates. This route tells you which egg to hatch, how many times, and when to stop.
The Three-Hatch Rule
When you reach a new egg tier, hatch a small sample first — three hatches is a good baseline — before you decide whether to keep spending. Then judge by what happened:
Keep hatching if…
the first few hatches filled an empty pet slot or replaced a weaker equipped pet. The egg is actively upgrading your team.
Stop hatching if…
most hatches were duplicates or weaker than what you already have equipped. Save those Wins for a world gate, the next egg tier, or Squishy upgrades instead.
Hatching Route by Tier
Each tier below pairs the egg's cost and training boost with the point where you should stop hatching it and move on. Costs and boosts are community cross-checked values.
Basic Egg — 50 Wins (1.05x)
Hatch exactly once to fill your first pet slot, then stop. The Mini Dumpling is better than no pet, but every Wins is better spent on Uncommon Eggs from here.
Uncommon Egg — 250 Wins (1.15x)
Your early-game workhorse and the best value per Win before Rare. Hatch a few rolls until you land the Soy Sauce Pup, then start saving for Rare. A Luck Potion is optional here but helps hit the tier's top pet.
Rare Egg — 1,200 Wins (1.40x)
The first tier worth committing to — a 1.40x boost cuts Power build time by almost 30%. Always hatch with a Luck Potion. Keep hatching while the Steamer Cat or a strong pet replaces your team; this is your mid-game main egg.
Epic Egg — 6,000 Wins (1.80x)
A post-first-Rebirth target. Only hatch when your Wins income comfortably covers the cost, because one Bamboo Panda (1.80x) nearly halves Power build time and is worth saving up for.
Legendary Egg — 30,000 Wins (2.50x)
The end-game goal. Stack every available Luck Potion and Squishy Luck boost before hatching. The Golden Dumpling Dragon builds Power in 40% of the usual time and is the best-in-slot pet in the game.
Signals to Stop Hatching
- Three hatches in a row improve nothing — the sample says the tier stopped helping.
- Duplicates dominate — the egg keeps returning pets you already own and use.
- The cost eats your Wins income — one hatch forces you to skip everything else for the session.
When you hit any of these, stop hatching and spend Wins on the other two sinks: a world gate or Squishy upgrades.
Plan Hatches Around World Gates
World gates and eggs compete for the same Wins. The common mistake is unlocking a world with exactly enough for the gate and nothing left over. Keep a reserve of at least a few hatches or test races after the unlock — a new area only pays back if you can use its rewards. See the worlds guide for full unlock timing.
A Simple Route to Follow
- Redeem codes and fill every pet slot with Basic and Uncommon Eggs.
- Race until Wins come in steadily instead of trickling.
- Move to the next egg tier and apply the three-hatch rule.
- Stop hatching when upgrades become rare.
- Save for the next world gate plus a post-unlock hatch reserve, then repeat.
